We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing organization. In this role, you will be at the heart of our business, turning data into valuable insights that support decision-making and business development. Your role and impact
As a trusted business partner, you will help turn financial and operational information into clear insights for the organization. Your work will support management decision-making, performance development and profitable growth.
You will report to and work closely with the Group Business Controller. You will also meet with the Finance Team weekly and collaborate with Country Directors, management team and other commercial managers.
What you will do
- Prepare regular financial and operational performance reports, analyse trends and identify key business drivers.
- Support the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts and variance analysis across business units.
- Develop KPI reporting, dashboards and profitability analyses to support management decision-making.
- Develop, maintain and improve reporting tools and dashboards.
- Contribute to improving data quality.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve reporting.
What will help you succeed
We value a combination of relevant education, analytical capability and practical business understanding. You may bring:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in business analysis, FP&A, controlling, finance, consulting or a similar analytical role.
- Experience working with ERP systems, reporting systems and data analysis.
- Fluent English and Finnish.
- Financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.Experience with Power BI, Tableau or a similar BI platform.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- The ability to explain complex information clearly.
- A business-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach and the ability to take initiative in your work.
- The ability to use data and insights to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills.
Experience in multi-site operations, hospitality, retail, QSR or consumer businesses is considered an advantage. Other Nordic language skills are also an advantage as is experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle or similar.
The position is based in Helsinki, Finland. We work in a hybrid model and meet regularly at our office in Kalasatama.
